He takes his time and does a thorough job!
I had an appointment on 5/28 and was very nervous about going during these Covid19 times. I was very happy to see how careful this office was with their precautions. One patient at a time. The office is sanitized before and after each patient. They screen each patient for covid symptoms and take your temperature. Dr. De Ala and his assistant were very protected with masks and face shields and protective coverings. I felt very assured and comfortable!
My son's experience at De Ala Dental went well! He has been nervous in the past but the dental hygienists and Dr De Ala have always been patient. At his most recent appt, he did really well because Virginia, his dental hygienist, made him relaxed and comfortable! Everyone there is so kind and welcoming! He also enjoys getting toys at the end of his appointments!
Always a friendly welcoming face at this office. We come here as a family. Kids get to pick something from the treasure chest even if they have cavities! It’s really helpful they are open Saturdays!
Rick and his team are the best! They are professional to the end, service is fast and they always work with me on my ever changing schedule.

I first discovered De Ala Dental Care when I purchased a groupon for Zoom. I only intended to utilize this business to whiten my teeth but they provided such amazing customer service that after that visit I made them my primary dental care provider. The staff supports each other as a team and they really make you feel welcomed when you are there. Because this business is so incredibly friendly and personable, I truly LOVE going to the dentist!
Dr. Rich has been my dentist for 12 years. The office worker have great customer service, Elly is a great office manger, I always make a 6 month appointment all the time, Dr Rich services are tops, you won't be disappointed. Hallie Akioka
De Ala Dental is a great place: both warm and welcoming, but always professional. The office itself is very clean and modern. Both of the front staff are so friendly. I've had great experiences with Ellie, where I feel she goes above and beyond. When my kids were younger, I got to sit in during their treatments, and I never felt like I was a bother. The treatment areas are also very clean and modern as well, and my kids love that there is a large tv there to help them get through "child boredom." Dr. De Ala is wonderful. Always greeting you with a smile. He, too, has gone above and beyond for me for a special circumstance, wherein he didn't necessarily need to. I would recommend this dental office any day!
Dr. De Ala is amazing! He always goes above and beyond. He has done some work for me that other dentists couldn't do and he saved my teeth. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I have been going here for many years, even after moving out of the Bay Area I still make the drive to see Dr. De Ala.
From the moment I walk into the office I am greeted with smiles and friendliness. I appreciate how my appointment is kept on time and the efficiency in getting all payments and insurance information settled before the work is started. Dr. Rick is very patient and great with his work. I always have a positive experience here and will continue to return.
